Corporate/central

• Leading the development of a 2 half-day workshop professional learning program on assessment best practice through use of the Early Years Assessment and Learning Tool (the Tool) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leading a small team to develop a 2-unit Early Years Assessment and Learning Tool eLearn for the early childhood sector
• Working collaboratively with University of Melbourne to provide practice advice during the final stages of the Tool’s development
• Supporting the early childhood sector to embed the Tool through written guidance and practice support.

• Working collaboratively at a high performing independent school to teach young people 12-18 months ahead of the Australian Curriculum standard
• Restructuring the content of a phonics booklet to ensure a scaffolded approach to the systematic teaching of phonics.
• 20+ years classroom teaching experience across Victorian government schools, including a special school setting
• Providing literacy and numeracy intervention for primary school students
• Leading colleagues through onsite and remote and flexible learning during the pandemic.
